Responsibilities
• Audit Execution & Credit Quality Review
Lead end-to-end credit reviews for Mid-Market, Large Corporate, and Institutional client portfolios.
Critique financial statement analyses, cash flow projections, and debt-service capabilities of borrowers.
Evaluate complex private bank structures, including syndications, structured finance, and working capital limits.
Verify collateral valuation veracity, charge creation legality, and financial covenant adherence.
Risk Monitoring & Analytics Integration
Audit the accuracy of internal borrower risk ratings and Early Warning System (EWS) triggers.
Assess exposure aggregation against group borrower limits and sector concentration caps.
Evaluate the bank's provisioning adequacy, Special Mention Account (SMA) classification, and NPL management.
Partner with the CoE team to leverage data analytics (SQL/Excel) for sample selection and exception tracking.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Management
Present audit findings directly to Business Unit Heads, Credit Approvers, and Relationship Directors.
Formulate sharp, fact-based audit reports highlighting structural gaps and underlying root causes.
Secure management commitments on actionable, time-bound remediation plans.
Ensure absolute alignment with central bank guidelines for large exposures and asset classification.
KPIs
• Audit Execution: Delivery of scheduled wholesale audits within targeted budget hours.
Observation Acceptance: Percentage of material risk observations validated and accepted by business units.
Regulatory Compliance:Zero major credit-underwriting or classification gaps flagged by central bank inspectors.

Regulations: Strong working knowledge of local central bank guidelines for wholesale banking and Basel III/IV.
Tools: Proficiency with core banking platforms and data-driven auditing techniques.
High professional skepticism.
Executive presence to challenge senior credit approvers.
Concise, strategic writing and articulation skills.
