About the RoleThe role leads and delivers Internal Audit and Advisory engagements end-to-end across Lenskart’s businesses, supervising and reviewing audit teams in line with Lenskart’s IA methodology.
The role builds strong professional relationships with CxOs and main auditees, supports the Head of Internal Audit on key Audit Committee relationships, and contributes to functional thought leadership on control environment.
Job ResponsibilitiesEngagement leadership and delivery
• Leads and executes Internal Audit and Advisory engagements, owning end-to-end delivery across the IA lifecycle from Engagement Preparation through Reporting.
Team supervision and review
• Supervises and reviews audit teams, sets the quality standard for the Test Plan, Scope Cards, findings and audit reports, and develops Audit Leads on methodology and stakeholder management.
Sponsor and stakeholder management
• Establishes strong professional relationships with main auditees and senior business stakeholders.
Cross-functional collaboration
• Coordinates with ERM, Internal Controls and the Statutory Auditor to maintain a coordinated assurance map, avoid duplication of effort and bring the full breadth of assurance expertise to business problems.
Industry insight and leading practices
• Understands Lenskart’s business model across Retail, E-commerce, Supply Chain and Manufacturing and recommends leading practices drawn from benchmark experience to lift the control environment.
Risk-based test plans and reporting
• Improves the quality of audit engagements by identifying risks, developing risk-based test plans and Scope Cards, executing testing where required, and preparing high-quality audit reports.
Key Skills & Experience RequiredCA or equivalent qualification, with 10–12 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit and Process & Controls reviews.
Strong knowledge of processes and systems across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, inventory, manufacturing, supply chain and consumer-facing retail / D2C operations
• with the ability to translate process and system understanding into risk and control conclusions.
Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary audit teams, managing senior stakeholders and delivering to quality standards.
Strong technical understanding of established control frameworks (COSO 2013, ICFR, IIA Standards) and the application of data analytics, automation and AI across the audit lifecycle.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to draft clear, evidence-led findings and to engage credibly with business sponsors and senior auditees on a day-to-day basis.
