Financial Reporting Analyst (Night Shift)

Financial Reporting Analyst (Night Shift) Under the direction of Manager, Financial Reporting, the Financial Reporting Analyst, Financial Reporting will primarily be responsible for preparing financial statements and other ad hoc reports for investment fund clients. A qualified CA candidate, with knowledge of investment funds, with a focus on NI 81-106 and IFRS requirements relevant to investment funds is desired for this position. Alternatively, the candidate is experienced in full-cycle accounting and has prepared complete financial statements packages and has engaged in the audit process. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES Prepare a full set of financial statements including accompanying notes and backup reports for each investment fundAssist with the preparation of other regulatory reports as neededMaintain most up-to-date fund specific data pertaining to financial reportingAccurately process edits or comments received upon internal review of draft financial statements from assigned ‘Reviewer’Accurately process client/auditor edits or comments received upon review of various draft financial statements, until final signoffRollover financial statements, templates, notes and other documents in preparation for shell review/next quarter/semi-annual and/or annual reporting period as requiredExecute assigned financial reporting controls, and log progress in a timely, accurate manner at each stage of financial reporting process as outlined by the ManagerAssist in the adoption of new, upcoming financial reporting standards as requiredAssist in new fund setups within the in-house integrated accounting systemMaintain client responses relating to various correspondence sent out during reporting periodsAssist in testing and implementing process improvements as mandated by the ManagerWork on other department related projects as assigned by the ManagerPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Master’s degree in accounting requiredProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and WordKnowledge of investment fund industry (preferred)Education M.COM/ MBA FinanceCA / CA InterSOFT SKILLS A driven self-starter who is highly organized and can thrive in a fast paced deadline-driven environmentStrong attention to detail, analytical thinker with the ability to conduct research and investigate dataStrong verbal/written communication abilitiesEffective interpersonal skills with the ability to work as an effective team-playerWork from office Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Health insurancePaid time offProvident FundAbility to commute/relocate: Panchkula, Haryana (Panchkula): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)Location: Panchkula, Haryana (Panchkula) (Required)Willingness to travel: 100% (Required)Work Location: In person
