Role Description The Cross Border Tech Compliance Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore.
The advisor will focus on identifying, interpreting, and applying technology-related regulatory and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions, with particular attention to cross-border data flows and digital operations.
Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring regulatory developments, conducting compliance risk assessments, advising internal and community stakeholders on best practices, and supporting the design of compliant technology and data governance frameworks.
The role also involves preparing clear guidance documents, contributing to training and awareness sessions, collaborating with legal and technical teams, and participating in community dialogues on responsible and compliant technology use in agile organizations.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of technology regulations, cross-border data protection laws, and compliance frameworks (e.g., data privacy, information security, digital governance).
Experience in compliance advisory or risk management roles, ideally involving cross-border or multi-jurisdictional technology operations.
Ability to analyze complex regulatory texts, translate them into practical guidance, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with agile ways of working, business agility concepts, and how regulatory requirements impact digital and technology initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Technology, Information Security, Compliance, or related field; advanced certifications in compliance, privacy, or risk management are an advantage.
Strong research, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work in a structured, detail-oriented manner.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate in diverse, multicultural environments and an interest in contributing to community-based thought leadership.
