Analyst SOX

As a member of the Global Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) team at Levi Strauss & Co., you will play a crucial role in ensuring program compliance for the $5 Billion business. Your expertise in SOX compliance, accounting processes, and controls will be instrumental in fostering partnerships with key process owners and leaders. Here's what you can expect in this role: **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in executing the company's global SOX compliance program for business processes • Aid in documenting internal controls to support the SOX compliance program, including performing walkthroughs and developing process flow charts • Conduct tests of control design and effectiveness, ensuring testing plans are followed appropriately, and escalating and resolving findings • Review control documentation and provide feedback to business process owners for improvements to meet public company documentation standards • Assess and test the effectiveness of Entity Level Controls • Work on ad hoc projects, such as building a new team in the Bangalore office through interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with CPA or CA certification, plus 1-2 years of experience in SOX/Internal controls in an MNC; public accounting or audit experience preferred • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX 404 internal control, and COSO framework • Fair understanding of SOX Business Process controls and testing knowledge • Ability to work with diverse, cross-functional teams, manage cultural sensitivities, and possess excellent planning, project management, interpersonal, and communication skills • Experience with SAP and Wdesk (Workiva) is a plus In addition to the exciting responsibilities, Levi Strauss & Co. offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to cater to your well-being.
