Analyst - Record To Report (RTR)

Summary Established Accounting professional. Performs a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards related to general accounting, general ledger, projects, and / or government accounting. Compiles and maintains accounting statements, reports, general ledger accounts, cost revenue reports, balance sheets, and / or bank statement reconciliations in order to ensure smooth functioning of the processes. Role & responsibilities Performs specific RTR activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Performs specific controls activities including support of internal and external audit activitiesPerforms activities to include standard RTR activities around balance sheet and reconciliation Prepares month end variance analysis Follows accounting policies and procedures and control processes to ensure work is per standard definedAbility to communicate effectively with internal and external business partnersEnsure accurate and timely financial results, monthly closing and compliance activitiesConfirms procedures and controls are in alignment with US GAAP reporting requirements and corporate policie Preferred candidate profile Performs a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards related to general accounting, general ledger, projects, and / or government accounting, to ensure accuracy of the accounting entries. Compiles and maintains accounting statements, reports, general ledger accounts, cost revenue reports, balance sheets, and / or bank statement reconciliations in order to ensure smooth functioning of the processes. Monitors account entries and control activities to ensure accuracy of information. Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations based on financial data. Assists on projects, and internal and external audits to ensure quality of project and timely completion. Compares budget to actual costs and provides advice to ensure budgets are adhered to. Prepares basic financial analysis in order to ensure accuracy of financial reporting. Follows accounting policies and procedures and control processes to ensure work is as per standard defined. Minimum Requirements Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience Practical knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work University Degree or equivalent A minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
