Role Overview: As an Associate Analyst/Analyst, Accounting & Reporting at Colgate-Palmolive Company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and month-end closing processes in compliance with US GAAP standards.
Your responsibilities will include driving operational excellence, ensuring SOX compliance, process improvements, and delivering high-quality MIS to support management decision-making.
Additionally, you will lead a global team, fostering stakeholder relationships for seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:Reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts, Bank accounts, and follow up on open itemsEnsure compliance with US GAAP standards and maintain effective internal controlsExecute intercompany transactions and cash application processesPost Rule-based journal entries accurately and review audit queries in a timely mannerEngage with local teams to resolve issues and ensure alignment with processesPerform activities related to closing books of accounts and comply with SOX guidelinesParticipate in standardization, continuous improvement initiatives, and business partner engagementsProvide prompt responses to local business queries
Qualification Required:Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.
